First Z.326 registered in the UK. Aircraft destroyed 22 August 1971 at Seething, Norfolk, and pilot Neville Browning killed, during air display practice. Neville was the CFI of the Herts and Essex Aero Club at Stapleford and kept the aircraft at his nearby farm strip. The 'flying farmer' used to often turn up to a display whilst inverted and on take off would immediately roll to inverted, so close to the ground, whilst retracting the undercarriage!
