Ex-RCAF 23275. Seen in its final color scheme after undergoing maintenance and a repaint. On 24 September 1972, destroyed in a well-known crash at Sacramento, California. During take-off the aircraft was rotated incorrectly and never reached flying speed, finally running off the runway and into an occupied building, killing 22 and injuring 28. The accident was ruled as pilot error, the pilot having less that 4 hours flying time in a Sabre. Photo by John Stewart.
