This Lim-5 was imported from Poland by an individual who then presented the aircraft to the Aviation Museum of Central Finland (since renamed Finnish Air Force Museum). As the type was never operated by the Finnish AF it did not fit in the collection. A competition was held among local school children on designing a paint scheme for the aircraft, and the winning one is shown in the photo. The Lim-5 has recently been moved away from the museum.
