Ex-USAAF TC-47B 44-76967 & US Navy R4D-7 99848; this aircraft was retired to the MASDC “Boneyard” at Tucson in 1972, and acquired by Lee County Mosquito Control as N833M in 1975. Sold to Associated Intl. Inc. of Tampa, FL., in September 1983 and passed to Apollo Airlines of Orlando, FL., in March 1984, it was transferred to the ownership of Four Star Aviation Inc. of of St. Thomas, VI., as N134FS in June 1988. Tragically the aircraft was destroyed, and the 2 crew killed, on 10th May 1991 when it crashed due to loss of power from the left engine shortly after take-off from Aguadilla-Borinquen Airport, PR.
