This early 707 -32i0B variant (built with underfin) was delivered to TWA as N776TW in 1962.After its nose was destroyed by a terrorist bomb in Damascus in 1969 it was rebuilt on site by Boeing and TWA technicians. One source says with a new Boeing built nose transported by MiniGuppy...the Tony Pither 707 A-B book-says the nose salvaged from BOACs burnt-out G-ARWE was used...reregistered as N28714 after repair
