Originally W1048 of 35 Sqn RAF Linton-on-Ouse. Crashed 28 Apr 1942 in Norwegian fjord on an operation against the German battleship Tirpitz. Recovered in 1973 and displayed at RAF Museum Hendon. Preserved but unrestored, apart from the nose turret.
