Built for TAA in Feb 1970 , it was sold to Sunworld as N741L in November 1986 before joining Chicago based Midway Airlines in Feb 1988. When they ceased operations in November 1991 it was sold onto various operators and agencies including NASA who had it converted to a cargo aircraft. It was eventually written off on take off 09 Novenmber 1990 at Urpan , Mexico while operating for Taesa.
