built as the Mk2 prototype and registered as G-AJGU in February 1947 but registration not taken up, re-registered VW905 and flew on that registration throughout it's lifetime. It first flew 2nd September 1949. The civilian registration was cancelled in February 1951. It was scrapped at Farnborough in December 1962
