The photo is the OMAC-1, not the Laser 300. The prototype aircraft, c/n 001, was the Laser 300 N301L, first flight on 11 Dec 1981. After repeated failures to get it into production, the registration was cancelled on 7 May 2001, as "destroyed". Final owner was Inter Tel Inc. The second prototype, c/n 002, was the OMAC-1 N81PH, first flight on 19 Feb 1982, which makes the OMAC-1 the later version of the Laser 300. Its registration was cancelled on 14 Mar 1997 as "destroyed". Final owner was the Museum of Flight in Seattle, WA. Both aircraft were built by OMAC Inc. I hope this gets things straightened out.
