A very very very rare one to see. Resting at BFE N°9 or Fuerte Patria just outside Latacunga, it's used as an instructional airframe for new paratroopers. There's almost no pictures of the Buffalo from our Air Force since they all were written off long time ago and only the one from the Army kept flying until an accident in Quevedo. We used to have two DHC-5 in our Air Force FAE063 & FAE064. FAE064 left the country to Canada for maintenance when it had a mishap and was written off in 1990. This one was also written off in an unknown year and it was taken here. Data plate checked by myself, double registration, military as FAE063 and civil as HC-BFG.
