From the photographer - The aircraft approached the Old Warden runway low over the Biggleswade Road - floating down quite silently over the airfield hedge towards the landing strip: the engine had cut out... Then the engine burst in to life - as the aircraft touching down disappeared behind the grassy rise blocking our view - but suddenly a wing cartwheeled up into view. The accident scene was pictured some 20 minutes later. Thankfully both occupants were believed to be uninjured.
