K-687 seen on final approach to runway 28. Grey/green camouflage, medium blue underside, dayglo orange markings on nose, tail and wing tips, and still the old Esk721 insignia on the nose. Built 1943. To USAAF as 42-100737 in 1943. Towed a Waco CG-4A glider on Operation Varsity 24/3/1945. To R.Norwegian AF as BW-P 1950. To R.Danish AF as 68-687 in 1956. Re-reg K-687 in 1960. Wfu 1981. Preserved at Danmarks Flymuseum in Stauning, Denmark.
