Original image by Les Sarjeant. Detailed comment provided by a contributor in 2022 - It is a Monocoupe 70 built in 1928 and sold in Switzerland as CH-232, sold again in France in 1932. At some time early in its history it was modified with a Hirth HM504 (used in Klemm 35 and Bucker Jungmann); the landing gear is also modified with a Messier strut and whilst not visible the instrument panel and firewall is also modified. The aircraft was put in storage in 1958 in the basement of a house in Paris and re-discovered in 2021. It is now with the CMV collection in Compeigne for restoration. The aircraft is still totally complete.
