Markings applied for the film Mosquito Squadron. From an informed correspondent - This photo was taken at the Hatfield 1968 open day ( the aircraft to the rear are G-ANAR & G-AKIF ). This image has some unusual attributes! Filming of Mosquito Squadron was completed just over a week prior to the open day. The film markings HJ695 H-TE, are applied however the serial appears to be missing. We have other imagery known to be taken around the same time of day which confirms this serial is applied, we have proved that the black and white film canât define the red serial on this shade of green, just the top left of the H is visible on grey. We also have reason to believe that at the time the serial painted on the port side is HJ583, yet to be verified.
