On our holiday trip from Sweden to Norway we found this Piper parked along a road near Svullrya in the Finnskogen woods (Hedmark province). There was no airport or airstrip in the wide surroundings, so presumably it used the road as a runway. During my pre-upload research it appeared that this Piper crashed on 14th July 1966, just 4 days after this picture was made. The young pilot was killed in the accident and therefore this picture is dedicated to his memory.
