This Lodestar had the USAF identity 43-16433 when supplied to the Norwegian Air Force exiled in the UK in WWII, it took part in BOAC's wartime operation to Stockholm with the identity G-AGIJ, crewed by Norwegians crews who frequently veered across their own country en route to Sweden
