With colder weather with just a few inches of snow, a lot of lakes in Sweden made great landing sites for General Aviation Aircraft and UL. This photo was taken after I landed on Lersjön, a lake close to Sunne in Värmland Sweden. This lake was used during the winters in the late 1930s, early 1940s to launch gliders.
