First flown at Dunsfold 17 May 1976. Registered by the CAA as a Hawk T.1 and not cancelled from G-HAWK until 13 March 1990 despite wearing ZA101 and redesignated as a Hawk 50 export model demonstrator carrying weapons. The C/n is in fact the fuselage number. The number 312008 quoted elsewhere is a planning number which reflects that it was the 8th Hawk built (thanks to Barry Taylor for clarification). It is now preserved in the Brooklands Museum.
