NT616 on the fire dump at RAF Cosford c May 1962. This had been an air radar training instructional airframe until the late 1950s and discarded when the radar equipment was obsolete. The aircraft was later burnt and its two Rolls Royce Merlin engines recovered for use in the rebuild of Mosquito HJ711.
