From a correspondent providing background to the visit to Oshkosh 1986 - Brockway Air had recently joined the Piedmont Commuter network and wanted to get some exposure on the national scene, so they made the airplane available to us employees to fly out to the Oshkosh Airventure, as long we agreed to chip in for the cost of the special insurance rider and host visitors to the plane as a static display. The pilots, flight attendants, and mechanics all donated their time and the rest of us took turns hosting the static display and making the custom signs for it.
