First flown at Chester 19 September 1966. Sold to Nigerian Eastern Regional Government as 5N-AER but embargoed at Lagos on delivery 1 January 1967. Stored at Luton until delivered to the breakaway Biaffran Government 13 September 1967. Subsequently damaged in hangar by strafing attack during Nigerian Civil War, c.5 March 1968. Patched up and flown to Sao Tome with Chief Ojuwu escaping federal forces January 1970. Abandoned until dismantled and transported by C-130 to Nigerian Civil Aviation Training Centre, Zaria for ground instructional use mid-1975
