Two Hawker Hunter FR.10s of 8 Squadron (XF436 and XF460) were written off 29/11/1969 in separate, unconnected, landing accidents at Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Aircraft sustained Cat.4(Repairable) damage and recovered to 131 MU RAF Khormaksar. Not repaired; instead sold to HSA Dunsfold as G-9-378, to Singapore Air Defence Command as Hunter FR.74B '546'
