Ex US Navy 85516, supplied under MDAP on 18 March 1953. Written off on 5 December 1953 when it crashed onto mud flats at Lymington, Hampshire, following engine failure. The crew were rescued by helicopter, and the aircraft was recovered and displayed as a "ditched aircraft" at the 1954 Lee-on-Solent air day.
