Ex 51-15946, d/d 19/04/1953, scr. 14/11/1958 at No.22 MU Silloth. Operated by 210 Squadron, RAF Topcliffe. Interesting article in Yorkshire Post dated January 14 1955 about this aircraft (X-ray) operating a mail drop to the weather ship, "Weather Observer", 400 miles off the coast of the Isle of Lewis. The flight was a 1600 mile round-trip from RAF Topcliffe which took place on the previous day.
