Lifting off from our raft in the middle of the lake. When conditions allow we perform an intermediate landing on the raft, partly as training for our crew and partly for passenger entertainment. The raft is a back-up in case the balloon gets becalmed or ends up heading for an unlandable area, allowing it to be manoeuvred to a safe area.
