My grandfather was Flt Lt. John Heber Percy. He owned DH.80A Puss Moth G-ABOC from 20 January 1936. At the time, he was at 1 FTS RAF Leuchars. In August 1936 he was appointed Aide-de-Camp to Sir Miles Lampson, High Commissioner for Egypt and Sudan. In February 1937 he flew G-ABOC in the Oases Circuit Race. G-ABOC was sold to Brigadier General A.C. Lewin in February 1938.
