Further information provided by the then owner - I flew my Auster to an Air Britain fly-in at North Weald, camping overnight next to the aircraft. The following day I was asked by a photographer from Der Fleiger magazine to fly a sortie, he going aloft in a Dutch pilot's plane to take aerial pictures. Those pictures and article, entitled " A very Englishman's Airplane" were published a few weeks later in Der Fleiger. I sold Charlie Kilo to Skegness Air Taxis in March 1991. Sadly, the plane was destroyed at Ingoldmells in September '91 by an arsonist.
