Single gear collapse at YSGT some 18 months previous, owner decided to self-tow the aircraft from the grass runway using a 4X4 vehicle. As a consequence the other gear collapsed resulting in a complete main gear collapse and the right propeller struck the ground. The aircraft has been untouched in this state since the accident. The owner it transpires was uninsured and this may be the reasoning behind its unfortunate abandonment? Airframe has a good probability of being scrapped before its repaired.
