The aircraft is 214 Sqn RAF Boeing Fortress III KH998 BU-W. The photo was probably taken in November 1944 near RAF Oulton, Norfolk shortly after the aircraft was delivered to 214 Sqn for use in the Bomber Support role in 100 Group, Bomber Command.
