Original from the late Mr Vic Leohardt. The code letters indicate 420 Squadron RCAF. However, when this shot was taken, the aircraft had been bought by Vic Leonhardt and his brother, along with KB994 (Parts of which still survive) and five Ansons (See JS119) The shot may have been taken at RCAF Red Deer, from whence the sale was concluded. Both airframes, with their rear fuselages resting on flatbed trucks and outwer wings removed, were towed to Drumheller, part of the way along a frozen river. The airframe was gradually reduced to parts which were used to service and repair farm equipment.
