The original was a paper negative loaned to me in 1964. I copied it and reversed the negative to a positive and made a 20 x 16 print from that. I did a small amount of hand retouching including trying to make the serial number more clear. What I now have is two copy negatives of that print. So obviously there is an inevitable loss of quality, especially since the original would have been taken with some rudimentary camera. Original was by the late Flt/Lt Richard Inger, and the year is a guess.
