The 'Space Shuttle' is a full scale mock-up built in 1972 by North American Rockwell. It is approxiamately the same size and shape as an actual orbiter. The wood and plastic model was made to promote the company's bid to construct the space shuttle which it subsequently achieved. Originally unnamed, it was named 'Inspiration' on 24th September 2012.
