Seen here arriving while en route from USA to Saudi Arabia for 'Operation Southern Watch' duties over Iraq. This jet was written off at Eglin AFB on 10/1/97 after catching fire on take-off and following an emergency landing and the pilot escaping was completely destroyed on the ground. It is credited with shooting down a MIG 25 with an AIM-7M missile during 'Operation Desert Storm' on 19/1/91.
