Originally a VIP configured aircraft for the Tennessee Gas Transmission Company hence the American Registration. Aircraft was on wet lease to Cyprus Airways from Alidair. Aircraft was being prepared at the Alidair operations base and MRO. In addition to operating CY's scheduled services - aircraft operated to Beirut at the end of each day to pickup the TMA B707 Freighter crews and bring them to LCA due to the conflict at that time in Lebanon. Found a bullet hole in the rudder after one of the rotations. The aircraft was 'selected' for these ops as had integral air stairs installed - so self sufficient.
