Seen here as an original Skyship 500. This ship crashed in Kansas on 17 March 1985 but was rebuilt with a new envelope. In 1987 it was converted into a Skyship 500HL by mating the '500 gondola with a '600 envelope, thereby considerably increasing the disposable lift ('HL' stands for 'Heavy Lift').
