One of three stored KC-135A's purchased by France in 1995. This one had already been made airworthy and was flown to Tinker AFB for Programmed Depot Maintenance and painting. Seen here after returning to AMARC for temporary storage prior to moving to Boeing's Wichita, Kansas facility to be fitted with CFM-56 engines and become a C-135FR. Delivered to France in 10/97.
