Built in 1936 as NC-16024; to the RCAF as CF-BRL/7649 in 1940. After war use became CF-BYV in 1945. Sold to the USA as N5705 in 1964, since cancelled. On Tuesday, April 28, 1936, NC-16024, Chicago & Southern Airlines "City of Chicago/City of Jackson" was flown by guest pilot Jimmy Doolittle and copilot W.J. Fry, (Chicago & Southern senior line pilot) on a Special Speed Flight from Chicago to New Orleans.
