This C-47 was purchased in the USA in January 1949 by Indonesian interests, and operated under the name of Burma India Airways. Donated to the Burmese government on 31 December 1951. The museum moved from Yangon to Naypyidaw in 2012. Aircraft previously housed indoors moved outside but were joined by many new types too.
