Prior to the hand-over of the aircraft to the Museum, a final flight was made at low level up the Ottawa River to the then Boeing plant at Arnprior, Ontario for a last visit and then back to Rockcliffe. Final approach included an impromptu exhibition by the pilot who had logged just under 5,000 hours on the type. I was on board. It was a fantastic day.
