Personal recollections from a former owner - I owned this aircraft in 1968. Flying from RAF Keevil in the west of England, I managed to obtain my Silver C thanks to this machine and had many happy experiences with it. It was one of two built by the Hawkeridge Aircraft Company in Dunstable Bedfordshire for the London Gliding Club. It's original registration was G-ALSO in 1948. If it is still there I put my signature in the barograph compartment in 1968!
