One of two AK-1s built in 2001 by TuAF 2nd Air Maintenance Centre to commemorate an ill-fated Bleriot XI flight from Istanbul to Cairo in 1914. Both AK-1s succeeded in reaching Cairo, following the Bleriot XI route. The other, named 'Sadik', is in the TuAF Istanbul museum.
