This aircraft is a P1127, not a later Kestrel. She came from RNEC Manadon the RN engineering training college, now closed. A personal comment - I was responsible for maintaining this aircraft during 1987/88. She was used as a ground training rig for practice alignment of flying controls. She was fitted with their wing of a Kestrel, however the body is P1127. She was briefly used for air starter trials of the Pegasus engine by Rolls Royce, hence an air tubeless fitted to the engine.
