Having been built from parts of several Piper Super Cubs then assembled in Kentucky in a somewhat tweaked design, the aircraft was christened a Hammond 1 after its owner/builder. It is used for skywriting and wrote Sun n Fun above the skies of Lakeland. Unfortunately by the time the word Fun was complete, the Sun part had usually disappeared.
