QANTAS has six 747-438(ER) in the fleet (VH-OEE to -OEJ). Their fuel capacity of 241.140 l (63.705 U.S. gal.) extends the range of the type to 14.205 km (7.670 nm), which is about the nonstop flying distance of New York â Hong Kong, Los Angeles â Melbourne or Rio de Janeiro â Perth (Boeing). The passenger capacity is 416 passengers in three class or 512 in 2 class configuration, however QF seated their 747-400(ER)s for F14, C66, PY40 (Premium Coach) and Y187, altogether 307. This particular a/c first flew September 13 2002 with Boeing N60659 test registration. Delivered QANTAS October 31 as VH-OEF. Seen here on arrival over threshold 16R, wearing the old livery. With the revised QF livery, she's a OneWorld logojet.
