Pacific Blue Airlines was a Christchurch-based low cost airline in New Zealand, subsidiary of Virgin Blue Australia, member of the Virgin Group between 2003 and 2011. Renamed December 2011 as Virgin Australia Airlines. VH-VUQ started her test flights August 7 2008, delivered Pacific Blue August 27 as ZK-PBL. April 2 2009 on lease Virgin Blue. What we see here is that the registration of the a/c is already Australian, however the livery is still full Pacific Blue, which had never changed while on lease, I did not see any pictures of her wearing Virgin Blue livery. A/c seen here as being pushed back from Gate 50 as departing for the 5 hr 10 min flight to Nadi, Fiji as DJ155.
