Dubbed 'Racing Moth', G-AAXG was built for DH director Alan Butler and took second place in the 1930 King's Cup Air Race. It was sold to New Zealand in 1935 as ZK-AEJ, where it remained for the next 70 plus years with various owners. It returned to the UK in 2008 and restored as G-AAXG, making its first major public appearance at the Moth Rally. It is seen here reflecting the setting sun as it left late on Sunday.
