First flight March 16 1989, delivered Air 2000, March 29 as G-OOOH. As from December 4 1992 7 times on lease to their overseas subsidiary, Canada 3000 as C-FOOG. October 7 2003 a/c to the freshly renamed First Choice Airways. Between February 16 and March 31 on lease SkyService of Canada as G-GOOG. April 1 2006 to Astraeus of UK. Happened that Bruce Dickinson, the excellent lead vocalist of the legendary UK heavy metal band Iron Maiden is a qualified chief pilot (captain) at Astraeus Boeing 757 class aircraft. Beyond his decade of experience of scheduled flying, he was involved several charter and rescue flights from Afghanistan, from Cyprus and Egypt as well. This particular plane was the a/c of the Iron Maiden 2008-2009 World Tour, reportedly captained by Mr. Dickinson, with the mascot of the band, Eddie, the humanoid monster on the fin. However after the tour they had to vanish him from the tail because of severe outrage by certain West African countries, where the local passengers had the jumps from Eddie. Seen here plain white before painting for orange, on lease easyJet. In 2012 converted to Special Freighter (SF), nowadays flies for FedEx as Boeing 757-23A(SF) N938FD.
