First flight January 13 1992 with F-WWCG test registration, delivered to TAROM December 17 as YR-LCA. This plane involved in a serious flying incident as RO381 on final approach Paris-Orly September 24 1994 with 186 souls on board, when going into a sudden and uncontrolled nose up position and stalled. YR-LCA climbed to tail stand, then banked sharply left and started a steep dive. The crew remained very calm and professional, stabilizing the plane after a hard struggle and landed safely on the second attempt. This picture is dedicated to them. Stored temporarily from the first quarter of 2004, back in service July 2007. Seen here on a ferry mission, during acceleration on RWY 34-16 to take-off for Bucharest.
