In 1997, under the supervision of the Gold Timer Foundation towed to Budaörs for general restoration, giving back the airworthiness, as the 2nd airworthy Li-2 Worldwide. First take-off after restoration September 21 2001. On June 26 2004 the aviation society of the World has lost the other Li-2 (RA-1300K), leaving HA-LIX the only airworthy of the type remained. HA-LIX seen here in Sunflower livery, later painted into the MALEV colours of her age. Still flying, however unfortunately the only aircraft represents the once legendary Hungarian national carrier, MALEV.
