The Ric Jet 4 was a ducted fan aircraft with a Mazda RX2 automobile engine driving a 40 inch dia. fan. Limited low altitude testing in 1975 showed a need for a more powerful engine and a smaller fan. No further development was undertaken and the aircraft was placed in the Chino museum in the early 80s.
